Description
This Queen sized quilt is a “must-have” for all lovers of butterflies. The bold swirl of brightly coloured butterflies is set off centre, and the butterfly theme is echoed in the seven large pale beige butterflies that run up the side and across the top of this quilt. The inspiration for this spectacular quilt came from our Cross Stitch design of the same name.
The background is very simply pieced so as not to detract from the detail of each butterfly. These butterflies are based on real ones found around the world, and are machine appliquéd on, although you could use needleturn applique if you’d prefer.
